Rand/Gates Education Study Finds, NOTHING?
The Rand Corporation, commissioned by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, conducted a series of studies / reports costing over $700 million. The outcomes were deemed unfortunate as they did not find answers to the questions asked. This perhaps, is a good place to start.
This Institute is committed to advance the process of Learning. Teaching and coaching are components, insofar as they interact with learning. Outcomes will be published. Improving teaching / coaching have been based on addressing those with the least control and input. The overarching belief is that some areas are beyond scrutiny (mandate, philosophy, pedagogy, curriculum). Those assumptions may have to be questioned?
